hey guys, its time for our first do-it-yourself feature! for the next week or two, we’re going to be providing you posts about different ways to customize a do-it-yourself (diy) figure.
this latest feature was written by kat brunnegraf from custom toy lab. although she chose a mad*l, you could definitely apply this to most diy vinyl figures (like a munny or a qee). back in the day, when blanks weren’t available, you’d have to start with a already painted figure.

here’s the cute little mad*l kat chose. first you’re going to need a bit of nail polish remove or thinner to strip the paint. after stripping the paint, apply a bit of primer to prep it. everybody has their own preference of paint, but kat chose to use acrylics. after a little patience, and a spot of creativity, you too can have your own red night walker!

awwwwww….
